PRIVACY_POLICY.txt
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Hot Chihuahua ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This document explains what information we collect when you visit hotchihuahua.store or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. For our sales terms, see our Terms of Service.
01_INFORMATION_WE_COLLECT
We collect the information you give us directly — your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details when you place an order through our Shopify-powered checkout, and your email address if you submit it through the waitlist signup on our homepage. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
02_HOW_WE_USE_YOUR_DATA
We use order information to fulfill and ship your purchase, process payment, and handle customer service requests. If you opt in through the email signup, we use your email address to send product drops, restock alerts, and promotions through Klaviyo. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
03_COOKIES_AND_TRACKING
Our checkout, powered by Shopify, uses cookies to keep your cart and session working correctly during purchase. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
04_THIRD_PARTY_SERVICES
We rely on two third-party services to run this store: Shopify for checkout and payment processing, and Klaviyo for email delivery. Both process the information you provide under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review before completing a purchase or signing up.
05_DATA_RETENTION_AND_SECURITY
We retain order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, meet tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. We rely on Shopify's and Klaviyo's industry-standard security practices to safeguard the data you share with us; no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
06_YOUR_RIGHTS_AND_CHOICES
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link — clicking it removes you from future email sends immediately. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us (see 09_CONTACT_US below).
07_CHILDRENS_PRIVACY
Hot Chihuahua is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
08_CHANGES_TO_THIS_POLICY
We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision — check back periodically.
